I wanted to post this email I recieved (with Steve's permission)from a good friend of mine who lives in Mississippi and was able to meet up with Laddie on the "Cruisin' the Coast" weekend.
Steve had a great time so far, and is really looking forward to the rest of the weekend. Thanks Laddie, for taking in a new Prowler Enthusiast, and showing what the spirit of our cars is all about. I owe you one, Pal!
Without further words from me, here's the start of Laddie's cruise, as described by a 17 year old high school student who loves our cars:

------------------------------
Subj: Cruisin The Coast...

Well, today after school, I headed straight for the D'Iberville location of Cruisin The Coast. While there, I checked out all of the classic/antique, and custom hot rods. I then was going to go by the registration booth and see if any Prowlers have showed up. But I never asked them, because before I was about to, my Brother was passing by in his Ram (truck). I then asked where he was headed, and he was going to get lunch. So I hopped in his truck,
and we went to McD's... After we ate the so-called fast food, he dropped me back off,
and while looking around, I seen about six Prowlers, surrounded by three PT Cruisers!
I then walked around each of the cars, checking them out. And when I was finished, went up to one man and asked, "Who is Laddie?" He replied saying, Me! So I was like, "Hey, I'm Steven... John's friend". We talked a bit about cars, and he then said that he'd take me for a little ride. We went to Bayside Chrysler (which was within walking distance), because one of the Prowlers wouldn't start. The owner walked there, and when Laddie found out, we drove there. The Prowler technician is in St. Louis now. Wow, the stares we got with that baby were so cool! All of the salespeople were looking at me, probably wondering, "Now just how did he bum a ride in a Prowler!?!" hehe! From there on, we went back, when someone said that Bayside Chrysler is giving away a PT Cruiser, to register for free! So we headed back up there, and about five Prowlers were chillin at "Bayside". The salespeople were saying, "What is this, a Prowler convention!?" While we were there, the dude who's Prowler wouldn't start, just started up like it was nothing! So after registering, Laddie dropped me off by my car, and then they went to fill up their tanks before heading to Bay St. Louis (about 4 cities west) I followed them, we took the Beach all of the way. Man, they had a lot of cars at Bay St. Louis too! I asked Laddie if he had seen a Viper yet? (Steve is a HUGE Viper fan) He said that he seen one before he turned the corner, which was two blocks east, and a few cars north.
I had to take an alternate route, because I wasn't a registered car. I walked down
two blocks east, and just a few cars north, was a 1994 Black Dodge Viper RT/10!
He (the Viper owner) said that he'll be there all day Saturday, and that If I bring a camera, he'll take a photo of me in the car! I should of brought my camera today. I love Cruisin the Coast... Just a huge block party where events are happening all day at all locations at the same time! There we're over 4000 registered cars last week. No telling how many now!

Steven
